Sharon Yun
AWB Program Coordinator
Sharon Yun is a recent graduate of Temple University. Introduced to AWB through an internship in her senior year, she is proud to be a part of AWB after graduation, continuing to make theater and performing arts magic while impacting lives through amazing work! Apart from AWB, Sharon has also interned at another nonprofit called Girl’s Inc. as a mentor and facilitator, working with girls from different backgrounds to inspire them to be strong, smart, and bold no matter the adversities they may face. She also has experience working as a teacher and teacher assistant at Yuong Sang Summer School and Yuong Sang Korean School teaching English and Korean to children as young as 3-years-old. Fun fact: she grew up learning and performing Korean Traditional Dance! She is so excited to start her professional career within a space as welcoming, exciting, and impactful as AWB. She looks forward to continuing to advocate for disability awareness with a focus on ability rather than disability.
